Block Remove Ads of Yahoo Messenger 8 Yahoo Messenger 9 Registry Tweak

This is manual ways to Block of Ads of Yahoo Messenger for Version 8 or above, (might work in Yahoo Messenger 9, but not guarantee) using registry tweak. That means you need to edit the registry of your windows and then you can remove or block the advertisement of Yahoo Messenger 9 or 8. This is different ways that we ever give you before (using patch: Yahoo Messenger Patch Multi ID and Remove Ads). OK, let get started. Go to your Regedit, by Start ~~> Run ~~> regedit ~~> Enter .
Find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\Pager\YUrl and the you can change the Register of Ads from the list below to “*”:

Change Room Banner=”*”

Save it and now you will be free from bothering Ads anymore. For fast ways just create registry file like this (you can use notepad and the save as and name it as ymadsblocker.reg):

Double click the ymadsblocker.reg and restart you Yahoo Messenger. Hey! you Banner Ads would remove instantly after you restrat YM.

this is how you remove the ad in the chat room if you are using the latest version of yahoo messenger. find your host file C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\ect make sure its not read only first then open it in a text editor . after the line 127.0.0.1 localhost add a new line and put this. 127.0.0.0 chat.yahoo.com ..close it and make it read only.exit messenger and reopen it go in a room the ad will be gone. figured this out myself nothing else worked on the new messenger
